Front Line Demonstrations (FLDs) organized by KVK Papum Pare are conducted to showcase proven technologies and practices directly on farmers’ fields. Unlike on-farm testings, which validate new options, FLDs focus on large-scale demonstration of already recommended varieties, crop management techniques and farm innovations. They allow farmers to see visible yield advantages, reduced costs or improved efficiency when compared with their own methods.

Through these demonstrations, farmers gain confidence in adopting the showcased practices, while neighbouring communities also benefit by observing the results during field days and interaction programmes. The feedback collected helps in refining extension strategies, ensuring that successful technologies are quickly disseminated and widely adopted for improving productivity and farm incomes in the district.
